1. The children are collecting Lenten Mission Offerings in little bags. They all should have their bags. If your child didn’t get one, ask their teacher or Donna Schroeder about getting one. These will be collected on March 25th when we bring the palms forward at the beginning of the service. We are collecting the offering for the Illumine Mission Church, Rock Hill, SC.
2.  The Sunday School children will be singing at the end of first church service and the beginning of the second service on April 8 for Pastor’s last Sunday. Please have the kids at church by 8:30 a.m. on April 8 so we can practice the song before we sing. We will meet in Room 1 in the basement.

On Palm Sunday, March 25, we will have the opportunity to sample a Passover meal. This will take place during Bible class/Sunday School between services and is intended for children and adults.

The Stewardship Board is again sponsoring our annual Time and Talent Auction on Sunday, April 15, 2018 after the 10:30 service.  Mark your calendar for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.  Please consider making donation to the auction and let the Stewardship Board or Douglas Kranich know what you are donating.  For your convenience a donation form has been placed in your mailbox.

The Stewardship Board is sponsoring a donation project during March and April to help reduce the cost of St. Mark’s youth attending Camp Croix this summer.  The donations received will be split equally among the youth attending Camp Croix.  Many of our youth have attended in past years.  Mark an envelope or on your check “Camp Croix.”

The Board of Education is forming a sub-committee for the purpose of grant research.  The committee is open to all communicant members of St. Mark’s, and will search for grants that can be used for the playground and school facilities.  Anyone who is interested in joining or helping this committee is asked to please talk to Mr. Bitter or a member of the Board of Education.

SCRIP cards are available for members to purchase. We have some cards on hand for Home Depot, Menards, Target, Walgreens, and Walmart. If you wish to purchase cards from other businesses, there is a form on the counter in the narthex to use for ordering. Orders are sent on Monday mornings. St. Mark’s share of profit is donated to the School Special Projects Fund. See Marjorie Gildersleeve or Nathan Bitter to place your order or if you have questions.
