THANK YOU!
We express our appreciation to Pastor Bill Werth from Christ Lutheran in Baxter for leading our worship and Bible study today. Thank you for sharing the Word of God with us!

ST. MARK’S 2018 NNO COMMUNITY EVENT – PLANNING MEETING JUNE 24
The second planning meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 24 at 3:00 p.m.
before Adult Bible Class. The 2018 St. Mark’s Community Event is scheduled for
August 7 (Same date as the local National Night Out Celebration). We hope to have an even bigger event than the very successful one held last year. Please plan to attend, especially if you  are one of the event leaders this year. If you have any questions, talk to Ken Grob.

CHURCH CLEANING
Due to the poor turnout at the spring cleaning day, we are asking all members to consider coming on your own time to complete some of the cleaning tasks. There is a list of tasks in the narthex; please mark the task when it is done. If you are scheduled for regular church cleaning in the coming weeks, this would be a great time to pick one or two “extras” to clean. Thank you for serving the Lord with your time in this way!

SEND YOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS EARLY
If you have an announcement for next Sunday’s bulletin, please send it tonight or tomorrow (Monday) if possible. (announce@stmarksbemidji.org) The bulletins will be printed early this week.

MEDITATIONS AND FORWARD IN CHRIST MAGAZINES
We are collecting your used Meditations and Forward in Christ magazines. These are given to WELS prison ministry and sent to inmates all over the country. Only these two devotional materials are accepted. Please place them in the top drawer next to the church mailboxes.  See Judy Krenz if you have any questions.

CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
Christian Family Solutions is our Synod’s counseling agency. Pastor Nitz is available for free pastoral counseling service whenever you or someone you know is in need. But if you or someone you know needs professional Christian counseling, Christian Family Solutions can provide it. They offer something called “Telehealth” coverage which enables you to meet with a counselor via the internet over a video chat. The cost is $75 per session. If you are unable to pay the cost for professional counseling, please speak with Pastor Nitz who can arrange for counseling through our congregation’s Member Assistance Program through the church. More information is available on the bulletin board.

TIME OF GRACE
Time of Grace ministry hosted by Pastor Mark Jeske (WELS) is available in our area at 6:30 a.m. every Sunday morning on Fox 9 KMSP.

BOX TOPS
Did you know that we collect Box Tops, Labels for Education, Our Family UPC labels and printer ink cartridges? Please drop them off in the labeled drawers in the cabinet in the fellowship hall. This is a great way to support our Christian day school!
