We have two full-time called teachers, Nathan Bitter who teaches grades 3 through 8 and Joy Holderbecker who teaches Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Mr. Bitter also serves as the school principal. Pastor Nitz and some members of the congregation also help in many and various ways to make a quality education possible.
Mr. Nathan Bitter
Nathan Bitter has served as the school principal since 1998, and also teaches 3rd through 8th grade students. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 1994 and previously served at Gloria Dei in Belmont CA.
He is married to Jody Bitter, and is the father to 10 children. His spare time mostly involves activities with his children, particularly soccer, but he also enjoys fantasy football and reading a variety of genres.
Mrs. Joy Holderbecker
Joy Holderbecker started teaching Kindergarten through 2nd grade at St. Mark’s this year. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 2015.
She is married to Trevor Holderbecker.
