The History of St. Mark’s Church

St. Mark’s was organized as a WELS Lutheran church in the early 1970’s and first met at Carpenter’s Hall in Nymore, a suburb of Bemidji, MN.  In 1974, the church purchased a building at 9th and America, downtown Bemidji. In 1980, a new church was built at it’s current location on Anne street. The school began in a rented building in 1984, and in 2008, the church expanded to it’s current facility which now houses both church and school.
